PLANET DER AFFEN Prequel

Es gab Gerüch­te, dass FOX damit befasst sei, einen wei­te­ren PLANET OF THE APES-Film zu pro­du­zie­ren. Auf dem FOX Movie Chan­nel lief am letz­ten Wochen­en­de ein APES-Mara­thon und da hat offen­bar Tom Roth­man von 20th Cen­tu­ry Fox kon­kret etwas zu die­sem The­ma gesagt, als Reak­ti­on auf die Gerüch­te bei Chud’s. Es ist defi­ni­tiv ein neu­er Film in Arbeit, aller­dings ein Vor­gän­ger, der die Geschich­te erzählt, die zum ers­ten PLANET DER AFFEN geführt hat. Roth­man sag­te: »We are very clo­se at Fox on a new Apes script – this one a kind of pre­quel sto­ry befo­re the first sto­ry, with a return to the social the­ma­tics that mark the first one, but with an ent­i­re­ly con­tem­pora­ry set­ting – Earth 2009,«
